Windows 7 – Universal presenter key

For those of you that conducts presentation often, well I have a good tips for you here. Well, you might think that all I have to do is just to press the Function Key to connect to the projector. But every vendor (Dell, HP, etc) has their own Function Key. For example, my Acer Aspire is using the FN+F5 key. While a Dell Vostro is using the FN+F8 key.
So I might be confusing on which key to press, especially when you are using a diffrent laptop model. So, what Windows 7 has done is that it provides you with a universal key that works at OS level to connect to the projector. It is WinKey + P.
How to use it?
Step 1: Press the WinKey + P. (Remember to hold on the WinKey)
Step 2: Tap the P key to set different type of projection (Computer only, Duplicate, Extend, or Projector only)
I like this key because I just have to remember WinKey + P rather than memorize all the different keys for different model of laptops.
